ANOVA -or analysis of variance- tests if 3 or more population means are all equal.
Now, if this isn't the case, then we sometimes compare each mean to each other mean, a procedure known as post hoc tests.
Additionally, you also want to look into
-some basic data screening,
-the ANOVA assumptions,
-effect size measures and
-APA style reporting.
