Black Myth Wukong's Lore and Story:
Chapter 3's secret area reveals the true plot of Black Myth Wukong and if completed, allows the gamer to experience the true ending of Game Science's incredible video game. It reveals a secret plan hatched between Erlang Shen and Sun Wukong aimed at bringing about freedom for Sun Wukong from the shackles of the heavenly court.
This video takes a look at how this secret pact between the once foes - Erlang and Wukong - came about. By looking at the motivations of both characters, including Erlang's mother as well as his empathy towards Wukong, and the injustice of the Gods towards Wukong through the use of one of the three golden bands that was placed on Wukong's brow, we can understand how the secret plan came about. Game Science was able to hide the revelation of their the plan behind the secret area and boss battle with Erlang in chapter 3's pagoda.
