On July 24th, 2020, a massive leak (aka: GigaLeak) of unused assets, source code and more from dozens of older Nintendo games was leaked that included the source code for a playable demo for a previously-unseen prototype of Super Castlevania IV for the SNES with a unheard variation of the soundtrack.
In a change from my normal lore videos, I wanted to briefly touch upon the differences between this prototype demo and the final released version of the game, so I threw together a very quick-n-dirty analysis of the demo's music just to touch upon how they compared to the music of the final version of the game released in October of 1991.
