TN 454: January 14, 1988.

Second of a two-part edited sequence of a Trans Australia Airlines (TAA) Airbus A300-B4 flight sector from Melbourne's Tullamarine (Runway 16) to Sydney's Kingsford Smith (Runway 07) Airport.

TAA was the Australian Government-owned domestic carrier set-up after the Second World War. For further information see:

In 1986 the airlines' name was changed to Australian Airlines. At the time of filming, the process of altering aircraft liveries was only partially complete and some aircraft retained their older paint-schemes.

In 1993, TAA was merged with Qantas.

Part 1: Start-up, pushback, taxi, take-off and initial climb sequences.
Part 2: Cruise, Descent, approach, landing and taxi-in segments of the flight.
