Today I set off from the lovely town of Whalley in Lancashire and headed out on my winter bike into the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The roads out here are excellent and definitely give you that feeling of cycling heaven. The destination was the Country Kitchen Farm Shop at Cracoe which is a quiet rural café nestled just off the beaten track along the iconic Way of the Roses coast to coast route, the food was excellent and it was reasonably priced too, a perfect stop for the keen cyclist who wants a more relaxing café stop !
I actually set off in search of this café on the 13th January 2024 but turned right at Cracoe, rather than go left, so today was the day...
And like on the last video, I was accompanied by a cycling enthusiast who wished to remain anonymous once again. But nevertheless, it was a cracking ride out with it's fair share of hills on a challenging parcours.
I hope my videos inspire you to get out there and to go for a ride.
I'm a cyclist and I live in the Pennines...
