START TIMES:

D Group Roll Time: 6:00pm
C Group Roll Time: 6:05pm
B Group Roll Time: 6:10pm
A Group Roll Time: 6:15pm

There is one planned short regroup spot at the elementary school located at the northernmost part of the route in Hockinson on NE 164th St and NE 202nd Ave, but if you're having a hard time keeping pace, be sure to have the route loaded into your bike computer.

PICKING THE RIGHT GROUP FOR YOU:

D GROUP
This is the novice group that will ride at the easiest overall pace, which should be an average pace of roughly 14-16 mph. This group will leave first and is perfect for those who are new to cycling, and/or those who are working to get their fitness back. Come out each week and start working toward making the jump up to the C group!

C GROUP
The C group is generally an average pace of 16-18 mph (give or take), and will leave second.

B GROUP
If you want to ride a little faster than the C Group, but you're not quite sure about riding in the A group (yet), jump in with the B Group that will leave third. The B is generally an average pace of 18-21 mph.

A GROUP
The A Group will leave last. The A group average pace is is between 22-24 mph with a lot of hard surges, attacks, and all out efforts.

TIME TO MOVE UP?
If you were one of the first riders to arrive to the regroup spot in your respective group during a recent Flogging ride, challenge yourself by riding with a faster group next time! This is how we get stronger and faster.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
If you keep coming back each week, this ride will absolutely get you stronger and faster on the bike. For those interested in bike racing, we will help you work on some basic tactics, group riding techniques, signals, pace lines, and much more. We are also more than happy to answer any questions you might have to help you develop as a cyclist. We would also love to see you pin on a race number some day!

This ride will take place every Thursday on the first Thursday in April and go to early September. Bad weather can lead to a ride cancellation and the route could change based on road conditions.

RSVP!
Please RSVP if you’re going to attend so we can plan the groups accordingly, and always feel welcome to bring a friend!
