The Easiest (New) Way To Create Recurring Tasks in Notion

It's finally possible to create proper recurring tasks directly in Notion.

Recurring tasks in Notion have long been a tough challenge. In the past, we had to use third-party automations to change the task due date and status for us or rely on the recurring template functionality of Notion, which could help in some areas but not all of them.

Luckily, thanks to the recent release of more robust Notion Database Automations, it's finally possible to create native recurring tasks in Notion.

In this video, we'll go over the most common use cases: moving the due date and setting a task back to "to do", changing the due date based on the completion date and even creating new instances of a task so that you can keep a historic trail of your past actions.

And while Notion Database Automations require a paid plan to set them up, you can still use them if they were part of a template that you downloaded. Which is why I put together a free Notion Template with all of these automations, so that you can easily integrate them into your setup.
