The Essence of the Entire Bhagavad Gita
Episode 03: Mahabharata the Epic, and Krishnaavatara
The Bhagavad Gita comes right in the middle of the Mahabharata, in the form of a dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna. In the Mahabharata, Krishna is presented as an avatara of Bhagavan or Ishvara, as he does not come under the spell of maya even though he had a human form.
In this episode, Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati explains the significance of Krishna as a historic person, and clarifies how Krishna presented in the Mahabharata is the true depiction of the Lord. With this, he starts to lead us into the foundations of the grand epic, and the Bhagavad Gita.
Let us listen to the Master as he unfolds the ultimate truth.
