Video Not Working? Fix It Now

veganism is dead… or at least that's what they want you to think. every week, there's another ex-vegan story or another article claiming we've peaked—but is that really true? in this video, i want to take a step back, look at the bigger picture, and explore the lasting impact of the vegan boom.

if you went vegan during the boom years (2015-2020), you might not realise just how different things used to be. i've been vegan since 2007, and let me tell you—times have changed. so let’s go back, look at how the rise of veganism shaped the world, and talk about why the movement isn’t over.

📌 topics we’ll cover:
when was the vegan boom, and why did it happen?
how 2015’s avocado toast era and ‘clean eating’ culture helped mainstream plant-based eating
2019: greggs' vegan sausage roll, the year veganism went mainstream in the uk
beauty brands that went fully vegan (barry m, mua, the body shop, etc.)
why veganism isn’t just a trend—it’s a necessary solution
