On March 26, 2021, around 5:15 PM, officers from Sparks Nevada were responding to a complaint at an apartment complex, when they came across a crime scene they never expected.
Lying there on the floor was 67-year-old Javier Rodriguez, lifeless with two bullet wounds: one in his wrist and another in his chest. His fate was sealed long before help arrived.
Javier was pronounced dead on the scene. The least the officer could do now was find the truth behind his murder. An investigation soon uncovered that just a night prior, Javier had several guests over, one of whom was 19-year-old Brian Rodriguez-Sigala.
