During World War II (and even as early as 1938), they made efforts to establish a collaborationist government with the Poles—one that would cooperate with the German occupiers. You will learn who the Germans tried to recruit for this cooperation and how it all ended. I will also talk about those Poles who were open to initiating Polish-German collaboration in the occupied country and what motivated them to take such a step.
