Here is the full thermoforming process from start to finish on how we created a custom acrylic windshield for the 1955 Mercury. This video shows in real time us putting it in the oven, taking it out, clamping it, letting it cool and then fitting it to the car. As seen in previous videos, we innovated a plywood oven box wrapped in foil paper on top of a junked propane BBQ, a metal buck in the shape of the windshield and used 1/4" acrylic plexiglas. The first attempt was a failure, the second attempt was successful but we're hoping to perfect the process in this third attempt 🔥
