In this video I'll share a few tips for drawing realistic lips in graphite. The shape of the lips, like anything, is down to the shading and the variation of values. The highlights, midtones and shadows of the lips are all crucial in building up the three dimensional look. The shape and size of the lips will effect the expression on the persons face so it's really important to map this in accurately during the beginning stages.
