In this video we diagnose a faulty TPMS system for a 2016 Ford Focus and how to activate its relearn procedure in the event of installing a new TPMS sensor or moving an existing one. Or in the event that the tyre pressures have been checked or changed, we show how you can manually reset the system without the use of any specialist diagnostic tools.
We use the TPMS4 supplied by Snap-On and explain how to use it and when it’s needed. We discuss vehicle messages and diagnostic codes that are relevant to this process.
