Simply put — a fantastic (short) day’s riding — mostly gravel, but every sealed road was superb — some of Victoria’s best!
Traralgon is so well placed — a small city which is surrounded by great country roads, just minutes away. The route we took;
𝗧𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗱 — great surface with stacks of sweepers. Excellent.
𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 — very good surface, twisties only. Fantastic.
𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗺𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆-𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗺𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗥𝗱 — great surface, plenty of sweepers followed by twisties. Very good.
𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗱 (𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻-𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗱) — very dusty with always changing surface. Sometimes wide, sometimes narrow, sometimes twisty, sometimes straight but undulating. Good ride.
𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻-𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗱 — mostly good surface but always changing. Mostly wide but sometimes narrow when winding around the mountain. Good ride.
𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲-𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗱 — great surface, all sorts of twisties, sweepers and great surroundings. Excellent ride.
𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗱 — out-and-back, excellent twisty ride to the resort — good surface.
