*班达马兰新村* （班村）位于雪州巴生，是雪州的第二大华人新村, 人口约有4万5000人。1948年，马来亚共产党展开武装斗争之后，英殖民政府宣布全国进入紧急状态，一直持续到1960年才解除，而我国的452个华人新村正是紧急状态剿共的历史产物。
班村如巴生地区一样，如今发展一日千里，经济活动蓬勃，从沼泽地变成繁荣的新村。
*班厝* 是班达马兰新村第一家故事舘，展示班达马兰的历史故事、在地文化相关的主题性故事展览，配以美食小吃、新村导览等各种活动。
*Pandamaran New Village* in Klang, Selangor, is the second largest Chinese New Village in Selangor with a population of about 45,000 people. In 1948, the British colonial government declared a state of emergency after the Malayan Communist Party started its armed struggle, which lasted until 1960, and the 452 Chinese villages (including Pandamaran) in the country are the historical product of the state of emergency against the Communists.
Pandamaran, like the Klang area, is now growing by leaps and bounds, and economic activity is booming, transforming itself from a swampy area into a prosperous new village.
*Ban Chu or Rumah Papan Pandamaran* is the first storytelling club in Pandamaran New Village and showcase the history of Pandamaran and thematic storytelling exhibitions related to local culture, along with various activities such as food and snacks and guided tours of the new village.
