This video features the story of private organization that supports Aeta ube farmers from Sapang Uwak, Porac, Pampanga.
The Aeta Farmers usually plant ube and other root crops all year round to support their daily needs however, some traders took advantage by buying their harvested ube at the very low price.
With the help of Mr. Christopher Gomez, executive chef and Chairperson of Operation Share a Blessing, a non-profit group and the parent organization of Cabalen Aeta Farmers and Partners together with the members of their organization, they initiated to buy harvested ube and other products of the Aeta farmers in a competitive market price and sell to their regular customers weekly. And the extra income generated will be used to finance the operations and activities of their organization that helps the Aeta community in Pampanga and neighboring provinces.
