Ingredients :
500gm urad dal
1/2 tsp asafoitida or hing
1/3 cup coriander seeds
3 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1/4 cup fennel seeds
7 big cardamom
5 cloves
3 small cinnamon sticks
5 cardamom
5 to 6 dried red chillies
