Industrial alpinism is a specialty for physically strong and mentally resilient people. Mostly alpinists use ropes for lifting to hard-to-get-at places of the building and descending, or special safety machinery. Very often forests, cradles, lifters do not justify themselves financially, and one cannot help but turn attention to the deadline and the need to attract another people, the risk of damage to surfaces and garbage. Main work activities: facades and windows cleaning, repair of destroyed parts of the building, sealing of balconies and interpanel joints, installation of advertising structures, stained-glass windows, roofs of irregular shape, air conditioning and ventilation. Industrial alpinists work on a very high altitude, for example on television relay towers, windmills, bridges. Training can be taken in a private or state institution, but to get certified, you need to pass a psychological test.
