This week vanlife in our self built campervan in the UK takes a stressful turn. We went through an emotional rollercoaster with our beloved dog, Poppy. What started as a scan quickly turned into panic when we were told she needed emergency life-saving surgery. The news hit us hard, and we spent days in fear and uncertainty, wondering what the future held for our little fur baby.
But when we take her to another vet, we got the shock of our lives—it was a massive misdiagnosis! Poppy didn’t need surgery at all. You can imagine the wave of relief that washed over us, but also the frustration and anxiety that came with such a mix-up. After all the mixed emotions we decide to tackle some van maintenance to take out mind off the past few days and give you the chance to win something which we think is ideal for life on the road, or even just an emergency backup power source for the home!
