Scotland is home to over 700 islands and this time I’ll be spending a few days on The Isle of Arran, an island often described as Scotland in miniature as it’s a Scottish island that has everything from Highland and Island scenery with peaks and deep glens to rolling hill and lush farmlands to the south.
Arran is one of Scotland’s more accessible islands as Ardrossan where you catch the Isle of Arran ferry is located only around 50-minutes from Glasgow or a 2-hour drive from the English border. I start my journey by catching the Ardrossan ferry to Brodick on the The Isle of Arran.
During my time on the island of Arran in Scotland, I visit Glenashdale Falls, The King’s Cave, Lagg and Arran Whisky Distilleries, Machrie Moor, Goatfell and the stunning Glen Rosa.
