In the late 80s and early 90s, everyone was desperate to keep poor, impressionable youth off of drugs. As a result, people in power went to great lengths to keep kids away from illicit substances.
The end result of this version of reefer madness? Wally Bear and the NO! Gang, an edutainment effort designed to keep kids away from evil substances. Wally Bear and the NO! Gang turned into an unlicensed Nintendo game and helped to cause a $105 million lawsuit.
