In this lesson, you will learn what the order of operations is and how to calculate using the correct order of operations. The highest priority is always parenthesis, followed by exponents, followed by multiplication and division, finally addition and subtraction. We spend great amount of time showing how PEMDAS can get students into trouble, and instead focus on the correct way to use order of opations.
