Alone in Iceland on my first solo hike. Dwarfed by the magnitude of the mountains & feeling grateful for where my legs take me on a slow-paced journey across one of the most stunning landscapes I’ve ever experienced - the Laugavegur trail.
After 4 years of full-time travel, Tania & I have been fortunate enough to have hiked some epic trails together. Most recently Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. However, Iceland was my first experience taking on this kind of adventure alone. And even though I was ill-prepared and made some rookie mistakes, I am certain that this won’t be my last solo adventure.
