Tripe soup, is quite a delicacy in Romania, and almost every restaurant has it on the menu. But when made at home, is not... all that good. In this video I highlight the most common mistakes when making this soup at home.
Ingredients for tripe soup:
• 2.5 kg of well-washed beef bones
• Salt
• 1.2 kg of fresh tripe
• Vegetables for soup: - 3 small carrots, 3 medium sised onions and a single parsley root not very big. If you don't have it, it can be omitted.
• 25 g of garlic through a garlic press (this means 4 very large cloves)
• 100 g grated carrot
• 30-40 ml oil
• 3 yolks
• 350 g sour cream with 35% fat
• 20-30 ml of vinegar
