The rivalry between the three in the said area became more evident when India entered into this competitive bet by simultaneously launching a highly advanced spy satellite and two other civilian satellites into space through a single launch. But after the western intelligence agencies reported in late October 2001 that the operation of the Indian spy satellite was in such a way that was better than the American and Russian spy satellites were , the world media later started a serious investigation about this Indian satellite.
