If you’re using wireless microphones for any kind of event or performance you need to be sure they’ll work
Wireless mics are everywhere and they make life easy
The artist can jump about the stage, the talent can go wherever they want, if it’s a conference you can pass one around the audience for questions
But I’m always suprised just how little people know about setting up and using wireless microphones
Although they’re convenient, they are prone to interference and drop outs when not set up correctly
So I thought I’d give you a crash course in setting up wireless microphones on the stage.
We’ll connect up the receiver and antennas
scan for frequencies and sync the microphones
And I’ll cover some best practices for what to do in the event of a drop out.
I’m going to show you using shure wireless equipment, but sennheiser also have networkable wireless mics.
