In this video, I (a contemporary voice specialist) analyse the legendary Scorpions performing “Still Loving You”, on the fly whilst watching and hearing it for the first time.
Watch me adoringly describe Klaus Meine’s incredible dynamic technique and obsess over his ingenious vowel modulation. From power stances, to tightly locked down rhythms, to bold statement trousers…this really has it all. In this video, I analyse the composition and vocal performance. I explain and demonstrate the vocal techniques (from an anatomical perspective), and ultimately tell you what I think makes this so great.

If we are meeting for the first time, HELLO GORGEOUS! I'm Lolli, a voice teacher and vocal anatomy nerd specialising in contemporary techniques. I have a degree in vocal performance, and I am studying for a masters degree in voice pedagogy. I sing aaaall the time! Pop, jazz, rock, metal, soul, Carnatic and I am constantly learning and practising new vocal skills. I just bloody love singing. It's my favourite thing in the whole world, and because I love you, I want you to sing too.
