The Gameboy, much like the NES, had very limited sound capabilities, and yet the Pokemon Trading Card Game video game managed to squeeze a whole soundtrack of full-sounding arrangements out of that hardware. In this video I go over some techniques the soundtrack uses to trick you into thinking there are more voices present in the music than there actually are.
