Ingredients-
Clams/Shimplya/teesrya- ½ kg
Small piece of dry coconut
1 onion
½ tsp turmeric ,3 tsp red chilli ,1 tsp garam masala and 1 tsp coriender powder
Salt,coriender and tamarind pulp – 2 to 3 sp
Small piece of ginger and 6 to 7 garlic cloves
Oil
Method-
Roast dry coconut and onion directly on flame for few seconds.once done remove the burnt outer cover and make small pieces of rest.
For masala-
Grind all ingredient together and make thick masala of it.
Heat 3 tbsp oil, put all ground masala and cook for 5 mins till oil separates.pour water and bring it to boil Once done, put clams and mix .cook for 5 mins. once done put tamarind pulp and salt required. Bring it to boil . once done serve hot with rice or bhakri.
