#19 from Selected Ambient Works Vol 2 is one of my favorite Aphex Twin songs of all time. The sheer simplicity of the thing is just beautiful - knowing when less is more is something I often struggle with, but RDJ has always been excellent at knowing when to hold back, and 'Stone in Focus' is a perfect showcase for that.
I'm glad I finally got around to doing a full cover - check out my shorts if you want to see how to recreate the main sound on almost any synth! This is a wonderful song to play because you can really enjoy it almost as much playing it as when you listen to it - which definitely isn't very common, for me at least. I also wanted to test out a few elements for upcoming live shows, notably the Doepfer A-197-3 RGB controller. I'm also working on a module to trigger the fog machine - hopefully the random visuals make it a little more interesting to have on in the background - I wouldn't expect anyone would actually pay attention to this video for the entire duration.

Elements into Ripples into Beads (for reverb) is the drum.
Morphagene is just doing Morphagene things.
There is dual Midiverb 4's doing light master reverb.
