沙溪鎮，舊稱隆都，是中國廣東省中山市下轄的一個鎮，位於中山市中西部。 總面積55平方公里，戶籍人口6.1萬人，非戶籍人口8萬多人。 沙溪鎮下轄轄15個村和1個社區。 沙溪鎮的支柱產業是休閒服裝業，2002年12月被中國紡織工業協會和中國服裝業協會聯合授予「中國休閒服裝名鎮」稱號。 沙溪鎮每年舉辦一屆“中國休閒服裝博覽會”，是中國服裝界最有影響力的十大服裝博覽會之一。 本地方言為隆都話，屬於閩南語分支。

Shaxi Town, formerly known as Longdu, is a town under the jurisdiction of Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, China, located in the central and western part of Zhongshan City. The total area is 55 square kilometers, with a registered population of 61,000 and a non-registered population of more than 80,000. Shaxi Town has jurisdiction over 15 villages and 1 community. The pillar industry of Shaxi Town is the casual clothing industry. In December 2002, it was jointly awarded the title of "China's Famous Casual Clothing Town" by the China Textile Industry Association and the China Garment Industry Association. Shaxi Town holds the "China Casual Clothing Expo" every year, which is one of the top ten most influential clothing expos in China's clothing industry. The local dialect is Longdu dialect, which belongs to the Hokkien branch.

中山閩語是漢藏語系漢語族閩語支閩南語在廣東省境內的一種方言，通行於古香山縣之隆都、得能都、四大都、谷都和恭常都等地。 即現在廣東省中山市的沙溪、大湧、南蓢、三鄉及火炬開發區的張家邊一帶與珠海市唐家灣鎮淇澳島和拱北關閘、聯安、高沙等三個 村落等地。
中山閩語中使用人口最多的方言是隆都話，因此被語言學界當作中山閩語的代表方言。
根據《香山縣志》的記載，宋元期間，由於戰亂，福建沿海一帶的移民前來香山縣一帶定居。 隨著時間的推移，中山閩語各小片受到粵語的影響，或多或少都混入了不少粵語詞彙和語音特徵，因而與閩南語的泉漳片和潮汕片出現了一定程度的差異。

Zhongshan Min is a dialect of the Hokkien language of the Min branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family in Guangdong Province. It is spoken in Longdu, Denengdu, Sidadu, Gudu and Gongchangdu in Guxiangshan County. That is, the Shaxi, Dayong, Nanlu, Sanxiang and Zhangjiabian areas of Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, and Qi'ao Island, Tangjiawan Town, Zhuhai City and Gongbei Gate, Lian'an and Gaosha Villages and other places.
The most spoken dialect of Zhongshan Min is Longdu dialect, so it is regarded by the linguistic community as the representative dialect of Zhongshan Min.
According to the "Xiangshan County Chronicle" records, during the Song and Yuan Dynasties, due to wars, immigrants from the coastal areas of Fujian came to settle in Xiangshan County. With the passage of time, various Zhongshan Hokkien films have been influenced by Cantonese, and more or less Cantonese vocabulary and phonetic features have been mixed in. Therefore, there has been a certain degree of difference from the Quanzhang films and Chaoshan films of Southern Hokkien.
