You can cycle from Fulham in west London to Ealing, almost entirely on quiet streets and protected cycle lanes.
The route is 11 km long (slightly under 7 miles) and makes use of Cycleway 9, quiet streets along Fulham riverside, and some Hounslow low traffic neighbourhoods like Green Dragon Lane and North Brentford – as well as historic infrastructure.
The journey takes around 40 minutes to ride, which is if anything a little bit quicker than the public transport journey, which requires a change of lines.
