In this video we visit Redbrook Engine house. It is an old steam powered engine house on the Moors. Redbrook housed a Newcomen steam engine that was used for pumping during the construction of the Standedge canal and railway tunnels. The longest canal tunnel in Britain. Inside are two deep shafts we lower a go pro into them. This is a historical documentary about British history video and a scary urbex video. I love to go urban exploring and find these abandoned historical buildings. We are out on Marsden Moor in the Pennine Hills. This building is grade II listed and is over two hundred years old this is a very historical building.
