In this lesson, I will show you how to add 3 mixed numbers or 3 mixed fractions with unlike denominators. We are going to start this video with a brief review of the mixed numbers and the proper fractions.
In our example, we need to find the sum of 3 mixed numbers with unlike denominators. First, we add the whole numbers, then the fractions separately. For adding the fractions, we need to find the least common multiples of the denominators or the least common denominator.
In the video, we will also convert an improper fraction to a mixed number.
That’s all for today, see you next lesson!
