Watch as I create a serene snowy river painting in this 90-minute ASMR video, perfect for studying, relaxation, and sleep. No talking, just calming sounds of charcoal drawing and painting with a palette knife (and foam brush), inspired by Bob Ross.
I've been enjoying peaceful landscape painting sessions and am continuing to experiment with my recording setups. Also I know I keep saying it--but really--I do plan to do some paintings on canvas soon. I have been getting most of the way through these only to have the paper start to fail me, and through all this practice I do feel like I'm getting the hang of things, so it might be worth making some longer lasting pieces.
As always, love it or hate it, leave a comment and let me know what you think! If you have opinions, I'm happy to hear them. A lot of this is just me trying different stuff, so always open to new ideas. :D
For those unfamiliar, ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It’s a calming, sometimes tingling sensation some people experience in response to gentle stimuli, like soft sounds, whispering, or repetitive actions. In ASMR art videos like this one, the focus is on the peaceful, meditative process of creation—allowing viewers to relax, unwind, and experience the joy of being present with each brush stroke and every step of the journey.
