It was created in the early 19th century by the Dutch, who then controlled the archipelago.
This garden, which covers more than 80 hectares, is located in the heart of the city of Bogor and is home to the presidential palace. It is also a public park where the inhabitants of the capital come to walk, far from the stifling heat of Jakarta. One of the treasures of the garden is its tropical rainforest.
