This is a cab view from Shiojiri Station to Matsumoto Station. This video is a continuation of the one I uploaded previously https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvWIS7DJzIo, and the train I'm riding is the same.
Legally, this section is the Shinonoi Line. However, in reality, the section from Shiojiri Station to Matsumoto Station is more of an extension of the Chuo East Line and Chuo West Line, and trains coming from the east side of Tokyo and the west side of Nagoya run to Matsumoto via Shiojiri. Some trains run further from Matsumoto.
In the section filmed in this video, the train passes through a long valley and runs through the plains that stretch between Matsumoto City, which is surrounded by mountains. The tracks are laid in a straight line. Just before Matsumoto Station, the final stop, there is a freight train terminal (Minami Matsumoto Station), where tank cars and other vehicles are always stationed.
