बाबूलाल मरांडी को भाजपा विधायक दल का नेता चुन लिया गया है. बाबूलाल मरांडी झारखंड विधानसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष भी होंगे. चुनाव नतीजे आने के 3 महीने बाद भाजपा ने विधायक दल का नेता चुना है. वैसे तो शुरुआत से ही बाबूलाल मरांडी ही इस पद के सबसे प्रबल दावेदार थे लेकिन, कुछ और नामों की भी चर्चा थी. मसलन, सरायकेला विधानसभा सीट से चुने गए चंपाई सोरेन, रांची विधायक सीपी सिंह, पूर्व मंत्री नीरा यादव या फिर कोई अन्य. आखिरकार, बाबूलाल मरांडी के नाम पर ही मुहर लगी. बाबूलाल मरांडी अभी प्रदेश अध्यक्ष भी हैं लेकिन भाजपा की पॉलिसी एक व्यक्ति-एक पद की है. बाबूलाल मरांडी खुद भी प्रदेश अध्यक्ष का पद छोड़ने की पेशकश कर चुके हैं. ऐसे में बड़ा सवाल है कि प्रदेश अध्यक्ष कौन होगा? क्या किसी आदिवासी नेता को ही झारखंड में पार्टी की कमान सौंपी जाएगी? क्या, चंपाई सोरेन, अर्जुन मुंडा या नीलकंठ सिंह मुंडा में से कोई प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बन सकता है या, कोई ओबीसी चेहरा ये पद संभालेगा. यदि, प्रदेश अध्यक्ष कोई ओबीसी होगा तो वह कौन-कौन हो सकता है.

If we talk about OBC, then their population in Jharkhand is 40 percent of the total population. In such a situation, to appease this community, only an OBC face can be given the command of the party. Neera Yadav is a former minister. She has won the Koderma assembly seat thrice. She is also a woman, so this thing also goes in her favor. If BJP makes Neera Yadav the state president, then along with the OBC community, the women of the state can also be appeased. By making a woman in the form of Neera Yadav as the state president, BJP can find a solution to the mobilization done by the Hemant government through the Mainiya Samman Yojana.
Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu can also be an option. Aditya Sahu also comes from the Vaishya community. At present, he is a big OBC face in the absence of Biranchi Narayan. He is considered a skilled organizer. He is also financially very rich. He presents the party's point of view in a restrained, factual manner on public forums. Aditya Sahu can also prove to be a good option as the state president.
