On 31 December 2024, I boarded the Hankyu Ferry Setsuetsu from Kobe to Shin Moji as the last ferry ride of the year. A limited number of 50 bowls of New Year's Eve soba noodles were sold! And we were impressed by the illumination of the Akashi-Kaikyo, Seto-Ohashi and Kurushima-Kaikyo bridges, which can only be seen from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day. The magic hour at Shin Moji Port was fantastic. From JR Kokura Station, we went to Kokura Gion Yasaka Shrine in Kokura Castle for Hatsumode (New Year's visit).
We were lucky enough to meet the couple who uploaded ‘Ken-chan's Daily Life’ on YouTube, and it was a fun New Year's Eve ferry.
