This video compares the field themes “Wandering Theme” and “Another World” from Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation, featuring music from the Super Famicom, Nintendo DS, and smartphone versions.
For “Wandering Theme,” you’ll also hear the tracks as they appear in Game Boy’s “Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland” and the PlayStation remake, “Dragon Quest Monsters 1•2: Shifureri no Yuusha to Bokujou no Nakama-tachi.”
As usual, I've remixed these game soundtracks, and even combined “Wandering Theme” and “Another World” into a single remix.
Initially, I planned to cover these two tracks in separate videos, but after the idea struck to remix them together, it came together surprisingly smoothly. Just as the two worlds in DQ6 are two sides of the same coin, these two songs also complement each other, making for a fascinating listen.
