Recipe for Easter buns with jam

NECESSARY PRODUCTS:

flour - 1 kg. (sifted)
fresh milk - 400 ml. (warm)
sugar - 300 gr.
eggs - 5 pcs.
cow butter - 150 gr.
dry yeast - 22 gr.
rum - 1 tbsp.
vanilla - 2 pc.
peel of one lemon
fig jam - 400 g (you can use jam of your choice)
yolks - 2 pcs. (for spreading)
fresh milk - 3 tbsp. (for spreading)
sugar (for sprinkling)

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

Add a tablespoon of sugar to the milk and stir to dissolve. Add a tablespoon of flour, yeast and stir again. Leave the mixture for 15 minutes, to activate the yeast.

Add the sugar to the flour, mix and form a well. Add the mixture with the yeast, eggs, lemon peel, vanilla and rum. Start kneading. Add the butter and continue to knead until you get a soft dough. Cover the dough with a towel and leave to rise for 2 hours.

Knead the finished dough lightly and divide into 4 equal parts. Form balls. Roll each ball to a thickness of about half a centimeter. Cut each piece into 12 pieces. Place jam of your choice on each piece. Roll up like buns. Arrange in a baking tray. Cover with a towel and leave to rise for 30 minutes.

Beat the yolks with the milk and spread the rolls. Sprinkle with sugar.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees, in the middle, without a fan, for about 30-35 minutes.
