Artur Beterbiev is a devastating puncher. He uses his body and kinetic chains very well to generate incredible punching power. I go over all the anatomy including the specific chains he's using to generate power.
Some guys on the web are using the term "kinetic chain," but there isn't just ONE chain. Further, they're applying this term to scenarios where they aren't taking advantage of the elastic muscle energy these chains can generate. You can't utilize these chains by using the robotic pivoting movement you see people teach in the gym and on the web. Straight line punches don't take advantage of the entire body and are push punches, rather than throw punches. The punch is a chain of events, starting with the hip which creates torque and rotation in the torso, which then creates a stretch / contraction between the torso and arm. First hip, then torso, then arm. It's not a movement all at once, it's a chain of events as I show here.
Don't be a powerless pivoter like these guys teach on the web, be a kinetic killer like Artur. If you want to learn how to use your kinetic chains in a step by step guide to maximizing your punching power, complete with drills and exercises for each phase of the punch, plus recently updated videos with exercises that combine these phases together, check out my program "The Power Punching Blueprint" available at https://www.howtopunchharder.com
