Learn how to make delicious GLUTEN-FREE "EMPANADAS CRIOLLAS", with a PERFECT homemade dough and a succulent filling.
Empanadas criollas are delicious empanadas made with meat, typical of Argentina. And with this gluten-free dough, they are spectacular.
The dough itself contains neither eggs nor dairy products. So if you don't eat eggs, just leave them out of the filling and brush the dough with oil.
YOU NEED:
For 12-15 empanadas
🔸For the dough
75 g chickpea flour
125 g corn starch
25 g potato starch
5 g xanthan gum
5 g sugar
4 g salt
100 g water
45 g sunflower oil
Egg for brushing
🔸For the filling
200 g minced veal
200 g onion
½ red pepper
30 g oil or beef fat
½ teaspoon oregano
¼ teaspoon cumin powder
¼ teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon of sweet paprika powder
salt to taste
60 g beef stock
1 boiled egg
40 g olives
2 tablespoons sultanas
