Hey hi hello. This is a video talking about tension pacing, or the various tricks of sound design, action elements, and pacing that define how a game doles out its scares. Is it screeching and frightful, moody and horrifying... or kinda just a bit goofy? I demonstrate the tension pacing of the "big three" survival horror series: Resident Evil, Dead Space, and Silent Hill, and give a list of games that have similar tension pacing in case you want to play more games like them. I know I'm always looking for new horror games, so hopefully this proves helpful!
