In this tutorial I'll show how to draw a realistic cat eye in graphite. This also shows how to draw realistic fur around the eye and this all helps to create that three dimensional portrait. In this video I'll speak about how what erasers to use, how to apply the graphite, the correct layering techniques to use and how I like to tackle a drawing that may have some challenging elements which may cause us to over think and hesitate. Working through these times in a way that is positive and productive can make us enjoy the drawing process so much more. This cat eye study is a great project for any artists who are new to learning how to draw photo realistic portraits in graphite.
