[Tamagawa Hirogo Profile]
Born on August 5, 1966 in Akishima City, Tokyo. His real name is Hirokazu. He is a member of the Akishima City Calligraphy Federation.
He started attending calligraphy classes at Nihon Shuji in the first grade of elementary school, and obtained the 6th dan in the student department in the third grade of junior high school. He also chose calligraphy in high school. He studied calligraphy until his third year of high school.
After a break, he resumed calligraphy at Nihon Shuji in February 2009.
He obtained a license to teach the kanji section of Nihon Shuji in March 2013, and passed the highest rank of 8th dan in September 2015.
In November 2019, he retired from Sankei Shimbun, where he had worked for about 30 years, and is now studying calligraphy and enjoying calligraphy with his students. He also runs a calligraphy class, while also planning and managing events and holding study sessions.
He has also studied Adlerian psychology and practices Adler's teachings such as "teleology," "separation of tasks," and "contribution to others," as well as Franklin Covey's "Seven Habits."
《Qualifications》
8th Dan Professor (highest rank) in the Japanese Calligraphy and Kanji division, Advanced Master in the Calligraphy Division (5th Dan on Hanshi paper, 4th Dan on Johaku paper), 5th Dan Professor (highest rank) in the Hard Pen Division.
He has obtained a license to teach social studies at junior and senior high schools. He is 2nd Dan in Kendo and 1st Dan in Iaido.
