We’re finally back with more Malaysian favourite dishes, which are MY FAVOURITE dishes, and this week, we’re going to do a Kam Heong Squid recipe which is a signature Malaysian stir-fry style that’s packed with flavours - spicy, savoury, a little sweet, and full of umami that comes from dried shrimps that contributes to the unique taste.

Kam Heong is a direct translation from the Cantonese dialect which means Golden Fragrance or Golden Aromatic. So you’re not going to just love the taste, but the smell 🤯 Hope you give this a try and let me know what you think in the comment section. Till next week!

- Shallots
- Garlic
- Dried Shrimps
- Dried Chillis
- Curry Leaves
- Fermented Bean Paste
- Curry Powder
- Water
- Oyster Sauce
