Along with the FM mode, the opsix has two other operator modes which follow what might be considered a traditional "modulator-carrier" paradigm the Ring Mod and Filter Mod modes. Applying the same basic tenants of FM to a different set of parameters (amplitude and filter cut-off respectively) gives rise to a set of timbres which provide a different set of flavours and sound shaping possibilities to "traditional" FM synthesis.

In this video we'll compare and contrast the Ring and Filter mod with FM and then go in depth exploring the different options these modes provide to us.

00:02:00 - Comparison of FM, Ring Mod and Filter Mod
00:14:37 - Ring Mod parameters
00:27:43 - Filter Mod parameters
00:41:17 - LFO rate modulators
