Welcome back to the channel everyone! I know it's been a long time since we had a premiere but we are back and on schedule with our Sunday night gatherings! I was able to afford a pre owned MacBook thanks to you all donating and I just want to say I LOVE YOU! 🩵 No matter how big or small your donations are I am always critically thinking of ways to put the funds to good use and I was able to find a decent laptop locally instead of waiting for repairs that aren't guaranteed. It's not new and not the best computer to date but it is just enough to get back to uploading our weekly premieres until I can afford a better one in the future! On this episode I was looking for someone to help this week but had no luck finding a homeowner who needed assistance. So I did my routine cruise throughout the city to look for properties that could use a cleanup to better the community. While driving I noticed a property that has been abandoned and overgrown for years and never gets any attention and I wondered WHY?? Its hugged up right next to a busy side walk and street (27th Ave) And it just didn't make sense for this property to be left overgrown when there's folks who need to use the sidewalk for daily commute. So I decided to stop, take a look at the property and get to work on it! I was approached by the neighbor & found out the reason why no one wants to cut it. It's infested with bees! No one wanted to take on the challenge of cutting this property and being attacked. The neighbor told me he at one time would cut it and I believed him because I did notice this property being cut a long time ago but not regularly. He went on to mention that the last time he cut it he was almost stung by bees and decided not to return to the property for safety reasons which is understandable. He spoke about having to call the authorities to have homeless people removed from the back of the property who were being reckless and damaging the home. A local elder who was getting a workout in on the sidewalk approached me and told me rumor was that someone burned down the home in the past due to experimenting with drugs! This is a very old home and I am left to wonder where are the owners? Are they alive? If so do they know what's going on here at this property? I am left with these questions but for now I knew I had to take action and do something about it! Although I was left overwhelmed with the bees being here on this property I cautiously took the risk to go ahead and cut the lawn. I sure was almost attacked by the bees here but I was able to manage my distance and get the job done! There's more work I would like to do here at this home but I won't spoil that at this time.
